Timothy J Hough

Mt. Morris, IL, Timothy John Hough, age 65, passed away on Sunday November 10, 2019 in Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL. Tim was born on April 21, 1954 in Freeport, IL, the son of Robert G. & Virginia A. (Angle) Hough Jr. Tim graduated from Mt. Morris High School Class of 1972, graduated from Manchester College, and he received his MBA from Northern Illinois University. He worked at Hough Hardware and for many years at Kable News Co. ascending to the position of comptroller, and he also was a CPA. Tim served his Lord and community in many ways, including; singing with Agape Players, performing with the yearly Cantata, several positions at his Church, Mt. Morris Evangelical Free Church, and Mt. Morris Fire Department, coaching soccer, Kiwanis Club, Mt. Morris Village Board, and Loaves N Fish food pantry, and he was an avid Cubs fan. Tim is survived by his sons: Joshua and Jacob Hough; mother: Ginny Hough; brother: Gerry (Jan) Hough; sister: Jane (Wayne) Atteberry; nieces and nephews: Chris (Jason) McCoy, Rob (Lynnette) Hough, Rick Hough, Joselyn Hough, MacKenna Atteberry, Michael (Allison) Atteberry, and Geoff (Olgajean) Atteberry; 6 great nieces and nephews. Tim is preceded in death by his father: Robert Jr.; infant sister: Susie; paternal grandparents: Margaret & Gerald Hough Sr.; and maternal grandparents: Velma & Ralph Angle. Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 14, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. in The Mt. Morris Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Bruce McKenna officiating. Burial Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday November 13, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials to Mt. Morris Evangelical Free Church and/or Loaves N Fish Food pantry.
