Pamela Lynn Borgmann, 61, of Leaf River (Adeline), passed away on Friday, Aug. 11th surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Priscilla Rainey (Leaf River/Adeline) and the late Richard Luke (Canon City, Colorado). Pam was the beloved wife of Darrell for 40 years. She was Mom to Kelli Borgmann (Forreston) and Richie Borgmann (Freeport) and the proud Grandma to Lexi, Destiny, Keean and Rhylee. She is survived by her three sisters: Debbie Palmer (Wally) of South Beloit, Sherry Hammer of West Chicago, and Chris Russell (James) of Forreston. Pam is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Bill Borgmann, Joanne Danekas (Jim), Dave Borgmann (Julie), Leonard Borgmann, Donna Johnson (Steve) and many nieces and nephews.
Pam had many hobbies that she enjoyed including crafting, going to auctions and garage sales, canning, her antiques collection of more than 30 years, and collecting Chicago Bears memorabilia. She loved cooking for family gatherings and just spending time with those she loved. She will be remembered for her feisty personality, her great sense of humor, and her ability to make people laugh. Pam was simply spectacular at whatever she did. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all.
She was predeceased by her parents, Priscilla Rainey and Richard Luke, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Dorothy Borgmann, and her brother-in-law, Dan Hammer.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 23rd. Visitation 12-2 pm and a Service at 2 all at the Bertolet Building in Leaf River.
