Obituary

   Byron, IL, Linda L. Johnson, age 77, passed away on Saturday April 22, 2023 in Generations at Neighbors, Byron, IL.  Linda was born on February 20, 1946 in Freeport, IL; the daughter of Charles F.W. & Violet A. (Heinze) Brick.  Linda married Steve Armbruster and then she married Robert W. Johnson on June 29, 1996 in Mactown Golf Course, and he preceded her in death.

   Linda was a hair dresser and she was a teacher’s aide in Drafting with AutoCad retiring in 2009.  She was a member of the Durand Lions.

  Linda is survived by Gretchen (Ron) Tillett, Byron, IL and Grant S.H. (Martha) Armbruster, Polo, IL; 10 grandchildren: Hannah Tillett, Sarah Tillett, McKaylee Armbruster, Allexxanna Armbruster, Elizabeth Armbruster, Logan Armbruster, Keira Armbruster, Lucas Armbruster, Emmalynn Armbruster, Ellenor Armbruster; brother: Dalon Brick; sisters: Doris Clark and Sandra Paul.

  Linda is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Robert; brothers: Burdett, Dick, and LaVere Brick; sisters: Phyllis Beling and Joyce Niedermeier.

  Cremation rights have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL.  Celebration of life will take place at a later date.

  In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude.
