Dixon, IL, George Allen “Bub” Bellows, age 62 passed away on Tuesday November 17, 2020 in Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport, Iowa. Bub was born on February 18, 1958 in Oregon, IL the son of George Henry & Shirley Ann (Mumford) Bellows. He graduated from Oregon High School class of 1976. Once he graduated from high school he entered the United States Navy; serving out of Virginia on the USS Detroit. Bub work for Woods Manufacturing as a welder ending up as a supervisor; after retiring from Woods he worked for the Oregon School system in maintenance. He was an avid Bears fan, when he was younger he golfed, loved hanging out with friends, lived his life the way he wanted, loving and caring, but most of all his family was the most important part of his life.

Bub is survived by his sisters: Connie (Ken) Reinhardt, Oregon, IL; Lori (Gary) Greenfield, Mt. Morris, IL; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles.

Private family service will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Oregon, IL.
