Dorothy Mae Borgmann

Dorothy Mae Borgmann, age 86, passed away Saturday November 21, 2020 In Mercy Hospital Riverside Blvd. after a short illness.

Dorothy was born on September 12, 1934 in Oregon IL, The daughter of Leo and Lillian (Davis) Stout.

Dorothy then married Roy Borgmann October 1, 1954 in Oregon IL. Roy preceded her in death on Oct 6, 1994.

Dorothy was a WONDERFUL wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

She worked at Kable Printing in her earlier years, as well as the Tasty Freeze in Leaf River IL

She Loved to play cards with her sons, she enjoyed her tea with the Ladies at the Mini Mart there in Leaf River. From her recliner she really enjoyed the hummingbirds in her window while coloring or reading one of her several novels. She made blankets for her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

She absolutely Loved her Chicago Bears. We always said she was the number one fan!!

Our Good Lord called her home to continue her greatness as an angel. After all, it’s what she has been all her life! She will be so missed.

Dorothy is survived by her children, William R. Borgmann of Adeline IL,  Joanne K. Danekas (Jim) of Leaf River IL, Darrell R. Borgmann (Pam) of Adeline IL, David A. Borgmann (Julie) of Leaf River IL, Leonard E. Borgmann of Leaf River IL, and Donna R. Hillman (Steve) of Freeport IL, and a sister, Ada Burke of Grand Detour IL.

Dorothy is preceded by her parents, her Husband Roy Borgmann, and a sister Mary Morningstar.

Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home 405 E Hitt St. Mount Morris, IL.

A Celebration of Life with be decided at a later date!
