Brad Doyle passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday April 27, 2022 at the age of 67. Brad was born in Mount Morris, IL and lived there all his life. He spent his entire career at what was first known as Kable Printing Company, a big printing plant in Mt. Morris. Brad had a love for all things mechanical. He was brilliant if not borderline genius in some of his mechanical pursuits. When he was only four years old, he could construct, using his own designs, elaborate machines from Tinkertoys - something his brothers were never able to do, even when they were years older. Only a few years later, at age 8, Brad was able to completely disassemble, repair, and reassemble a lawn mower engine. Later in life, he built a complex pond system with novel drainage, bypass, and overflow subsystems. These are only a few examples of his brilliance and creativity. Brad battled schizophrenia most of his adult life. For the most part, he coped. But this curse of a disease is progressive and ultimately claims its own, as it did Brad. Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Doreen Doyle of Mt. Morris. He is survived by his brothers Brent (Palm Bay, Florida), Cliff (Las Vegas, Nevada), and Tom (Mt. Morris, Illinois), and has numerous nieces and nephews in Maryland, Florida and Colorado. Memorial gifts can be made to Serenity Hospice.
