Oregon, IL, Betty J. Wood, age 94, passed away on Sunday May 9, 2021 in Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL. Betty was born on April 20, 1927 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Elmer & Norma (Lee) Gulbronson. Betty was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Oregon, IL, member of the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge, lifelong area resident, and she worked as a Nurses Aid in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris and several Rockford Nursing Homes retiring in 1989.

Betty is survived by her children: Harvey (Barbara) Wood, MO and Gregory (Julie) Wood, TN; grandchildren: Ronald, Michael, Gary Jeffery, Julie, Steven, Brian, Harvey B, Dot, Jean, Jamey, and Marcus Wood; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchild.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; son: Cecil; great grandson: Gregory James Wood.

Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL 61054. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Oregon, IL. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
