Wilma O Colvin

Mt. Morris, IL: Wilma O. Colvin, age 96, died December 24, 2012 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home. Wilma was born April 12, 1916 in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of Henry J. & Olive (Murphy) Hammann. Wilma is a graduate of Mt. Morris High School. Wilma married Benjamin Colvin, October 17, 1936 in Mt. Morris, IL. She worked at Kable Printing after High School; Wilma was also a Homemaker. Wilma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church; where she was a Ladies Aid, and she served on the Chancel and Alter, Trustee, and she was in the Eastern Star. Wilma also authored a book "Windows." Wilma is survived by Son; Benjamin (Darlene) Colvin, Carmel, IN. Grandsons: Ron (Barbara), Noblesville, IN; Jim (Amie) Colvin, Carmel, IN; Tim (Monica) Colvin, Carmel, IN. Great-Grandchildren: Ethan, Nick, Reece, Megan, Emma, Sarah, and Jenessa. Nephews:Steve (Lea) Colvin; Brent (Louise) Colvin; and Great-Nephews: Jeff and Scott Colvin Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Benjamin Colvin, and sister, Jeanette Keller. Memorial services will be Thursday December 27, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Marilyn Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be December 27, 2012 in Trinity Lutheran Church from 1:30 P.M. until service time. Memorials made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Lieu of Flowers.
