Walt was born on October 18, 1926 in Dixon, IL the son of George & Katherine (Hummel) LeFevre. He graduated from Oregon High School. Walt married Irene Floto on September 11, 1949 in Mt. Morris, IL. Walt enjoyed golfing, playing tennis, working in the yard, traveling with Irene, and spending winters in Florida. Walt is survived by his wife: Irene LeFevre, Mt. Morris, IL; son: Robert (Crete) LeFevre; daughter: Connie (James) Johnson, Shannon, IL; grandchildren: Curtis (Shelby) Johnson, Peoria, IL; Kimberly (Aaron) Dietrich, Geneva, IL; Robin (Joshua) Keene, Mt. Morris, IL; and Lance (Lindse Koch) LeFevre, Mt. Morris, IL; great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Alaina, and Trevor Johnson, Peoria, IL, Abigail and Alexander Dietrich, Geneva, IL, Ian and RJ Keene, Mt. Morris, IL, and Laine LeFevre, Mt. Morris, IL Walt is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers: Earl, Leander, and George LeFevre. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 30, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Mt. Morris, IL. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Dixon, IL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 30, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until service time in Trinity Lutheran Church. Memorials to be established.
