Vivian M Armbruster

Mt. Morris, IL. - Vivian Marie Armbruster, age 95, died on April 18, 2012 at KSB Hospital in Dixon, IL. She was born on January 8, 1917 in Buffalo Township, Ogle County. She is the daughter of Guy W. and Virginia (Kelly) Shrader. Vivian graduated from Polo High School, Class of 1935. She married Harold F. Armbruster on September 21, 1940 in Clinton, IA. He passed away on April 15, 1975. Vivian worked as a mailing clerk for McGregor Magazine Agency in Mt. Morris, IL., and for Armbruster Trucking, Mt. Morris, IL. She is a life long area resident. She was a member of the West Branch Church of the Brethren, Forreston, IL. She is survived by one son Steven (Betty) Armbruster, Mt. Morris, IL; One granddaughter Gretchen (Ron) Tillett, Byron, IL; One grandson Grant (Martha) Armbruster, Machesney Park, IL. Also, six great granddaughters and two great grandsons. Predeceased by her parents and her husband. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be April 23, 2012 from 9:30 A.M. to service time. Rev. Richard Bright will be officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL.
