Victoria Lynn Marshall

Victoria Lynn Marshall, 70, of Mount Morris, Illinois passed away peacefully at Serenity Hospice and Home on February 6, 2025. She was born on November 3, 1954 in Clinton, Iowa to Ferris and Mary (Scheckel) Sullivan. She married Leo Marshall on June 18,1985 in Clinton, Iowa, he passed away in 2020.

Victoria graduated from Preston High School in 1972.  After attending college, she worked at Eagle Foods in Clinton Iowa. Her career path brought her to Pinecrest Community where she served as Human Resource Manager for 35 years.  Following her retirement in 2022, she was a part-time bank teller at Stillman Valley Bank.    She was known by her co-workers to be very friendly, talkative, compassionate and understanding.

In her personal time, she deeply loved family gatherings, attending Emily’s activities and making time for her nieces and nephews.   She enjoyed golf, shopping, music, concerts, dancing, her beautiful backyard, Carter and Chloe (her cats), a bit of wine, and little getaways.  Victoria was one of a kind and will be profoundly missed by her family, friends and co-workers. May she now rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.

Victoria is survived by her granddaughter Emily Marshall, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, daughter Kelly Marshall, brothers and sisters, Allen Sullivan (Belinda) of Preston, Iowa, Gregory Sullivan (Kathy) of Maquoketa, Iowa, Waunita Sullivan (Rox) of Camanche, Iowa, Mark Sullivan (Sandra) of Manhattan Beach, California, Julie Borelli (Rob) of Carroll, Iowa, her dearest Gene Demarest and many nieces and nephews.  She was proceeded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4th from 5 to 7 pm at Finch Funeral home, Mount Morris, Illinois.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Dixon, Illinois on Saturday, April 5th at 10 am. Inurnment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon, Illinois.  Visitation, funeral and burial services are open to all relatives and friends.
