Dixon, IL - Vernon August Fliehler, Jr. January 31, 1939-June 29, 2018 The family of Vernon A. Fliehler, Jr. wishes to express our sincere thanks for the flowers and other expressions of love during our time of bereavement. Beloved Husband of Diane Marie Fliehler. Loving Father to Deonna Campbell (Daren), Tara Piotrowski (James), Grandfather to Carly Piotrowski and Miley Piotrowski. Vernon and Diane married on August 8th, 1959. They were married at the Villa Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. After 5 years of marriage their first daughter Deonna was born. After 14 years of marriage they welcomed their second daughter, Tara. Vernon had 6 sisters and got the nickname "Bingo." Bingo enjoyed working, traveling, visiting with his sisters and visiting with his grandchildren. He loved his family, but especially his two grandchildren, Carly and Miley. Bingo, loved talking about Jehovah God to everyone he met. He enjoyed sharing bible scriptures and talking about the Paradise. One of his favorite scriptures was; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4. Memorial Service: Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.
