Tracey Lemae Gobin

Byron, IL   Tracey LeMae Gobin, age 57, passed away suddenly in her home on December 5, 2020.  Tracey was born on November 21, 1963 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Melvin & Shelva Ann (Bankes) Gobin.  When she was 3 years old, her parents moved to the country with a Leaf River address but Byron Schools, and she graduated from Byron High School class of 1981.

Tracey’s passion for music and movies was shared by all.  She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and Rockford 392.  She loved to laugh, cry, and always needed a hug.

Tracey is survived by her 2 daughters: Kassian (Bruce) Larson, Lubbock, TX, her father is David Anspach, Byron, IL, and Kayla Colborn, Winnebago, IL, her father is John Colborn, Winnebago, IL; 8 grandchildren: Kylie, Payton, Lynsey, Kobe, Ryne, Rylee Rae, Conner, and Keller; father: Melvin Gobin, Leaf River, IL; 2 brothers: Thomas (Barb) Gobin, Sullivan, MO and Surprise, AZ and Terry (Sandy) Gobin, Byron, IL; nieces: Brandy Lynn, Leah Chelsee, and Soraia; nephews: Jason and Terry James.

Tracey is preceded in death by her mother: Shelva Ann and her grandparents.

Due to Covid restrictions there will be no funeral services at this time. Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL.  A Celebration of life will be held next spring.

Her smile and special laugh will be missed by all.
