Timothy J Feary

Timothy J Feary, age 33, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 as a result of a car accident. Timothy was born October 21, 1981 in Dixon, Illinois, the son of James and Barbara Feary. Timothy graduated from Dixon high school, class of 1999. He joined the United States Army in 2003. He served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, and also in Korea. After his honorable discharge from the United States Army in 2012, Tim attended Western Illinois University and finished his degree at Carl Sandburg College just this May. Tim was due to graduate from Carl Sandburg College on May 14, 2015. His parents walked in his honor. Tim enjoyed fishing with his dad, bowling, online gaming, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He was a former VFW Commander, and supported veterans in any way he could. He loved his nieces and would surprise them with gifts. He had an outgoing and charming nature which made him an instant friend to many. He will sadly and lovingly be missed by his family and friends. Timothy is survived by his parents: James and Barbara Feary, Dixon, IL; sister, Kimberly (Duane) Feary, Dixon, IL; nieces, Gabrielle, Delaney, and Annalise, Dixon, IL; fiancé Amanda Pauk; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Timothy is preceded in death by his Grandparents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:00am at Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL, with Rev. Josh Ehrler officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6pm to 8 with family present in Finch Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL.
