Tena M Martin

Tena Marie Martin, 62, of Mount Morris, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2026. She was born on May 29, 1963.

Tena was the beloved daughter of Sara Heffelfinger and the late Norman Trenholm. She was a loving mother to Sara Zellers and a proud grandmother to Caleb, Trinity, Ayden, and Weiland Zellers, whom she lovingly called her “chickens.” Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.

Tena worked at Ciminos and Pinecrest over the years, where she made many friendships and memories. She had a special love for pigs and found her greatest happiness spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her love, her strong spirit, and the special bond she shared with those closest to her. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
