Suzanne Renee Chavez

Suzanne Renee (Diehl) Chavez, age 51, died Monday, January 11, 2016 in Goodyear, AZ. Sue was born March 1, 1964 in Dixon, IL to Robert and Janell (Myers) Diehl. She graduated from Oregon High School in 1982 and later obtained her Bachelors degree in Nursing and Masters degree in Business Administration. Sue married Ronald Chavez on March 17, 1990. She made her career in nursing and health care administration, a perfect fit for her compassionate and caring heart. Sue loved to travel; her life was always about adventures and the next big trip. Sue is survived by her husband Ron; son Matthew Chavez; stepdaughter Tena (Abel) Stanford; granddaughters Bianca, Celeste and Christaina; mother Janell Diehl; brother Robert (Jennifer) Diehl; Sisters Marty (Larry) Fay, Kathy (Gary) Blume, Donna (Jerry) Martin and Diane (Dale) Beesing; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by father Robert Diehl and niece Audrey Diehl. Funeral services will be held Monday January 18, 2016 in the Oregon United Methodist Church, Oregon, IL at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Barbara Good. Visitation will be held in the Church on Monday January 18, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Memorials to National Kidney association. Finch Funeral home is assisting the family with services.
