Stephen D Mackay

Oregon, IL, Stephen D. Mackay, age 85, passed away in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL on Friday March 3, 2023.  Stephen was born on February 2, 1938 in Freeport, IL, the son of George & Elizabeth (Robinson) Mackay.  He graduated from Oregon High School, Oregon, IL.   Stephen married Susan L. Metz on April 30, 1960 in Oregon, IL.

Stephen was a tool & Die maker for Woods Equipment Company, Oregon, IL, retiring on April 4, 2000.

Stephen is survived by his wife: Susan L. Mackay, Oregon, IL; children: Stephen A. (April) Mackay, El Paso, TX and Shawn E. (Christine) Mackay, Nokomis, FL; and sister: Susan Larson.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter: Sinden L. Mackay.

Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL.
