Scott D Rudolf

Mt. Morris, IL, Scott D. Rudolf "Uncle Rudy", age 46, died Sunday September 22, 2013 in Boston MA. Scott was born March 8, 1967 in Dixon, IL the son of David & Patricia (McNett) Rudolf. Scott graduated from Mt. Morris High School Class 1985, where he was a member of the 1983 Sweet-Sixteen Basketball team which played on March 8. He attended Augustana College, Rock Island, IL, where he was a member of the track team; he then graduated from Eastern Maine Community College. Scott is a US Air Force Veteran serving during the 1st Gulf War. Scott bled Mounder Red and Black. He enjoyed all sports, but the loved the Green Bay Packers and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed joking with his "sister Stef" on where in the City of Boston she is. Scott's heart was made of gold, taking care of anyone that needed his help. He was a big teddy bear to his family and many friends, with a contagious smile. Survivors include his children who he loved with his whole heart, Son: Mike Rudolf, Brewer, Maine and Daughter: Kaylee Wasilauskis, Wakefield, MA. Parents: Patricia & Larry Claussen, Mt. Morris, IL. Sisters: Stacy Anderson, Salem, IL; Wendy (Gene) Elzenberger, Castle Rock, CO; Lana (Ed) Vaile, Dixon, IL; Linda Claussen, Dixon, IL; Stefanie (Jason) Page, Mt. Morris, IL. Nieces and Nephews: Emily and Evan Elzenberger; Shaye and Chris Anderson; Drew and Tylar Smith and Mykayla Page. Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Scott is preceded in death by his Grand Parents: Robert & Alice McNett, Arthur & Victoria Claussen, Frank & Edith Tomei, and his Father: David Rudolf. Services will be Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mt. Morris Church of The Brethren with Rev. Ginny Haney officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be Monday September 30, 2013 in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Memorials to Mt. Morris Community Gym, Mt. Morris Church of the Brethren, and/or The Scott David Rudolf Memorial Scholarship Trust, Union Savings, Mt. Morris, IL.
