Sandra C Goodson

Sandra Catherine Goodson passed away peacefully with her family by her side on 10/10/2025 at 10pm. The number 10 symbolizes completeness, perfection, and the end of a cycle and the starting of a new one. Sandra was born on September 4th, 1946 in Carlinville, IL to Raymond and Ruby Todt, the youngest of nine children. She graduated Raymond High School in 1964. Sandra most recently resided in Mt. Morris, IL for the last 33 years.

Sandra worked at Watt Publishing, Kable News, and as a CNA for many years, while finally retiring in 2017. Sandra’s biggest joy was her family. She loved watching her grandkids grow up. She was there for everything they did. She loved attending every sporting event they played (and it was a lot!) and cheering them on. She was known as ‘Little Grandma” to them growing up. Most recently watching both grandkids marry the love of their lives brought so much joy to her. She also loved her Cubs and enjoyed watching the Cub games with Bo.

She is survived by her son Tim (Bo) Goodson, Mt. Morris, IL, daughter Jackie (Jeff) Yount, Mt. Morris, IL, grandson Jeffrey (Shauna) Yount, Mt. Morris, IL, granddaughter Jordan (Dylan) Inglima, Byron, IL and great-grand pups Diggs, Gracie, Kai, and Rusty.

She also leaves behind a large family of nieces, nephews, and their families.

Sandra was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Ruby Todt, and siblings Tony, George, Bruce, Robert, Francis (Butch), Virginia, Ramona, and Zita.

Per the request of Sandra, no services will be held. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Serenity Hospice & Home, Dr. John Plescia, and Allure of Pinecrest for their compassionate care providing comfort in the last two weeks of her life.
