Byron, IL, Samuel B. Fielder, age 82, he went to heaven after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's on May 28, 2014 in Neighbor's Nursing Home, Byron, IL, his passing was so beautiful there was no doubt for all of us that was there that God had ushered his spirit from his body. The Pastor came and prayed for Sam and he said God we released Sam's spirit to you and please take him home, and during this Sam opened his eyes in a peaceful way and took his last breath. Sam was born September 16, 1931 in Fontain, Arkansas, the son of Albert L. & Maude M. (Freeman) Fielder. Sam and his loving wife Bonnie has known each other since early childhood, and through thick and thin till death do they part they kept their promise to one another. Sam and Bonnie were married on September 18, 1954 in Bono, Arkansas. Sam is survived by his loving wife: Bonnie Fielder of Byron, IL; Son: Richard Fielder of Mt. Morris, IL; Daughter: Robin Clark of Byron, IL. 7 Grandchildren: Christina, Samuel, Venessa, Nancy, Evelyn, Myda, and Robert. 17 Great-Granchildren. 2 Sisters: Mary Thompson of Pontiac, Michigan and Angelena Caradine of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Many Nieces and Nephews. Sam is preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Daughters: Nancy and Rita; 4 Grandchildren: Ricky, Christopher, Jonathan, and Tabitha, Sister: Lovida Ball. Cremation rights have been accorded through Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
