Ruth was born March 2, 1910 in Polo, IL, the daughter of Thomas & Susanna (Longanecker) Summers. Ruth Married Owen M. Diehl August 30, 1928 in Mt. Morris, IL; he preceded her in Death. She then Married Charles H. Stengel, October 10, 1962 in Mt. Morris, IL; he preceded her in death also. Ruth worked for Kable Printing Company in Bindery, she then was the cook for Mt. Morris Schools and then Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home retiring in 1970. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survived by Daughter: Carolyn Hackbarth, Mt. Morris, IL; 2 Grand Children: Duane (Heidi) Hackbarth, Roscoe, IL and Diane (William) Palmer, Oregon, IL. 3 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandson. She is preceded in death by Parents, 2 Husbands, 2 Brothers: Harvey and Donald; 4 Sisters: Ruby, Clara Mae, Esther, and Dorothy. Funeral service will be Monday February 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home 405 East Hitt Street, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Steven Erickson officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Dixon, IL. Visitation will be Monday February 21, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. till service time in the funeral home.
