Roy C Ramirez Jr.

DATELINE: MT. Morris, IL, Roy C. Ramirez Jr., age 78, passed away on Monday June 29, 2020 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL.  Roy was born December 11, 1941 in Chicago, IL; the son of Roy & Juanita (Cerda) Ramirez Sr.  He graduated from Calvin High School, Chicago, IL the class of 1959.  Roy served in the United States Army.  Roy married Mary Fenoglio on February 20, 1977 in Des Plaines, IL.

Roy was a loving, proud, and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He liked to smoke his cigar, listen to the golden oldies, tinker around the house, and most of all spend time with his family.

Roy is survived by his wife: Mary Ramirez, Dixon, IL; children: Jonathan (Amy), Springfield, MO, Kevin (Heather), Mt. Morris, IL, Michelle (Hector), Mt. Morris, IL, and Jennifer, Dixon, IL; grandchildren: Brandon, Katlyn, Evyn, and Conner; 3 brothers: George, Greg, and Eddie; 4 sisters: Rachel, Anna, Sue, and Lois; and many nieces and nephews.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers: Ruben, Danny, and John; sister: Kathy.

Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
