Mt. Morris, IL, Ronald Paul Embick, age 87, died Wednesday August 7, 2013 in KSB Hospital, Dixon, IL. Ronald was born December 15, 1925 in Oregon, IL the son of Paul H. & Grace O. (Glotfelty) Embick. Ronald graduated from Joliet Township High School Class of 1944. He worked as a bookbinder in the bindery department, Kable Printing Company, Mt. Morris, IL retiring on February 1, 1990 after 43 ½ years. Ronald was in the Army Air Corps serving as a Tail gunner in a B-24 in England during WWII. He received a Purple Heart and 4 Battle Stars. Ronald was a member of the GAIU Local 65B, VFW Mt. Morris 3639 serving as past Adjutant, American Legion Mt. Morris 143, Mt. Morris Moose Lodge 1551 serving as Past Treasurer, Board member of Silver Creek Cemetery. Ronald is survived by Son: Steven P. Embick, Oregon, IL; Granddaughter: Christina (TJ) Smice, Mt. Morris, IL. Grandchildren: Logyn Embick and Tanner Smice both of Mt. Morris, IL. Brother: Richard L. (Judy) Embick, Alexandria, VA. Ronald is preceded in death by his Parents and his Sister: Janice Stafford. Funeral services will be Saturday August 10, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Frank Lay officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Silver Creek Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be Saturday August 10, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. till service time in the funeral home. Memorials to Mt.
