Robert C Wright

Oregon, IL - Robert Charles Wright passed away at 11:57 P.M. on Thursday, February, 21, 2013 in Oregon Healthcare & Rehab Center. He was born October 11, 1926 to Carroll and Belle (Lewis) Wright. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School class of 1944 and he attended college in Ames, IA. He was in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was on Carrier "Midway" when it was commissioned. Charles married Donna Knight on June 27, 1953 in Ohio, IL. He was employed as a Roto Pressman for 40 plus years. Memberships included Masonic Blue Lodge for 55 plus years and a life member of the VFW. Survived by his Wife: Donna Wright, Oregon, IL; Son: William C. (Wendy) Wright, Oregon, IL; Daughter: Cristi C. (Randy) Pals, German Valley, IL. Three Grandchildren: Ken (Alicia) Pals German Valley, IL, Caleb Wright, Cuba City, WI, and Emylyn Wright, Oregon, IL. Two Great-Granddaughters: Cara and Shannon Pals, German Valley, IL. Brother: David (Barbara) Wright, Freeport, IL. Predeceased by Parents: Sister: Martha Mongan and Brother: Bruce Wright. A private family service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Arrangements handled by Finch Funeral Home, 405 E. Hitt St., Mt. Morris, IL 61054. A Memorial will be established.
