Robert Lee Kain's Story

1947 - 2025

Robert Lee Kain, born on February 24, 1947, in Kokomo, Indiana, passed away  peacefully on January 15, 2025, at Oregon Living and Rehabilitation Center in  Oregon, Illinois. He was 77 years old.

Robert was the beloved son of Robert Edward Kain and Virginia Mae Harris. He was  preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Ron E. Kain, Wendel Harris, Roy  Grider, and Suzy Baker.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Katherine Kain; his sons Michael Coy, Jamie  Kain, Charlie Kain, and Andrew Wescot; and his cherished grandchildren Christy  Munnich, John Coy, Kaleb Kain, and Abigail Kain. Robert also leaves behind numerous  nieces and nephews, including Ron Kain, Sheila Brescia Kain, Darren Kain, Chris  Kain, and Michele Kain Warner, as well as extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service to honor Robert's life will be held at Adeline Zion Evangelical  Church, located at 9106 N Cedar St., Leaf River, IL 61047 on January 25th, 2025.  Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.

Robert’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May his life and  legacy bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
