Robert D Feary

Rockford, IL, Robert D. Feary, age 76, passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2025 in Amberwood Care Center, Rockford, IL.  He was born on April 16, 1948 in Oregon, IL, the son of Clarence & Helen (Taylor) Feary.  Robert served in Okinawa during his time in the United Sates Army. He married Doris Stepp in 1986, and she preceded him in death.

Robert served in Okinawa during his time in the service.  Robert was a lifetime truck driver over the road, he liked to fish and travel, racing, and his time with family and friends.

Robert is survived by his children: Stephen Feary, Campbellsville, KY, Charles Feary, Sterling, IL, Michael (Kelly) Feary, Belleville, IL, Thomas (Kim) Feary, Polo, IL; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers: William Feary, Leaf River, IL, James Feary, Dixon, IL, Jack Feary, Polo, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by parents; wife: Doris; brother: Roy; sister: Millicent.

A visitation will be held on Sunday January 26, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL.  Cremation will take place after visitation.
