Robert L. Campshure, 80, Cedarville, died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 at his home. He was born on Nov. 30, 1935 in Appleton, Wis., the son of Leo and Catherine (Keller) Campshure. He attended St. Therese Elementary School and graduated from Appleton High School in 1954. He attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Bob was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960 in the 2nd Armored Division, 1st Armored Rifle Battalion, 41st Infantry. He married Sharon Brooks on June 9, 1962. He was employed at Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, Freeport, for 30 years. Bob was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks. He also enjoyed gardening and feeding and watching birds. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Bradley (Terry) Campshure, Polo; daughter, Dianne (Mike) Pehl, Freeport; two grandchildren, Courtney Pehl, Chicago, and Hayden (Jen) Pehl, Louisville, Kentucky; and brother, Charles (Ann) Campshure, Menasha, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Richard Campshure. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Forreston Grove Church, 7246 N. Freeport Rd., Forreston, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. A lunch will be held after the services at the church. Finch Funeral Home, Mt. Morris, assisted the family, and cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial will be established.
