Richard A. "Dick" Bearman

Oregon, IL, Richard A. “Dick” Bearman, age 86, passed away on Saturday October 1, 2022 in Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL.  Dick was born on April 8, 1936 in Pine Creek Township, IL; the son of John W. & Ella A. (Rohns) Bearman.  Dick married Nancy Blase on August 17, 1956 in Mt. Morris, IL and they have been married for 66 years.  He served in the United States Navy in 1954.

Dick was a truck driver of A&B Trucking until he retired.  Dick enjoyed yardwork, garage sales, tinkering with snow blowers and blowing snow, was a thrifty shopper, and most of all spending time with his family.

Dick is survived by his wife: Nancy Bearman; children: Dawn Churney, Todd (Carol) Bearman, Tracy (Steve) Bushland; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Larry Bearman and Wayne Bearman; and 1 sister: Jerre Woodworth.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents, and infant son: Michael.

Visitation will be held on Saturday October 8, 2022 from 3:00 until 4:30 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt.
