German Valley, IL

Rebecca (Becky) Hollewell, age 60, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Becky was born September 20, 1965 in Morrison, IL. The beloved eldest daughter of Allen and Charlotte Rahn.

On July 18, 1998, Becky married Lee Hollewell. Together they enjoyed 28 years of marriage; raising their boys, operating a trucking business, and farming side by side. Becky enjoyed canning, gardening, reading, running the combine in the fall, and all the other tasks that came with farm life, especially the cattle. She was known for her impeccable bookkeeping skills, advocating for Autism awareness, and volunteering with the Ogle County Beef Association at their various events.

Becky will always be remembered for her unwavering faith, sweet smile, and gifts of kindness and patience towards everyone she met. She was always willing to go the extra mile to help someone in need; and was so excited to step into her new role as a grandma.

After a short, but courageous battle with cancer, Becky went to be with her Lord and Savior. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Lee; sons, Curtis (Danielle) Hollewell, and Jared Hollewell; father, Allen Rahn: sister, Ada (Bill) Holm; four brothers, Paul (Gretchen) Rahn, Ron Rahn, Allen D. Rahn, and Steven (Billy Jo) Rahn; aunt, Denise (Dale) Queckboerner; in-laws, Gary and Doris Hollewell; sister-in-law, SuAnn (Matt) Solverson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Becky is preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Rahn; several aunts and uncles; and infant granddaughter, Iris Hollewell.

A family graveside service is planned at Adeline Cemetery. Her family invites all those who knew and loved her to join them for a Celebration of Life and meal on Saturday September 19, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. in the Pine Creek Christian Church 8061 West Penn Corner Road, Polo, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Village of Progress or The Haven Network – Northern Illinois Perinatal Hospice & Bereavement Center in her memorial.
