Mt. Morris, IL, Philip Patrick Egan, age 72 , died June 30, 2012 in Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, IL. Phil was born July 25, 1939 in Mt. Morris, IL the son of George & Eva (Foley) Egan. Phil graduated from Mt. Morris High School class of 1957. Phil married Kay Hovis on October 17th, 1959 in Oregon, IL. He was employed at Kable Printing Company for 44 years, retiring in 2001. Phil was a member of the GCIU. Phil loved spending time with his family and along the river. Phil is survived by his wife: Kay Egan, Mt. Morris, IL; Son: Mike Egan, Mt. Morris, IL; Daughter: Lynda (Ron) Alden, Rockford, IL; Granddaughters: Erin Alden, Rockford, IL and Ashley (Jeremy) Khemmanivong, Rockford, IL. Sisters: Margie Johnson, Oregon, IL; Dolores Goley, Byron, IL; Patsy (Ed Tuttle) Franz, Lodi, WI. Many Nieces and Nephews. Phil is preceded in death by Parents; Brother: Bill "Rusty" Egan. Sisters: Maryalice Fletcher and Ellen Toms. Funeral Services will be Tuesday July 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL, with Father Thomas Lamb officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday July 3, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. till service time in the Funeral Home.
