Paul E Shriber

Polo, IL, Paul E. Shriber, age 65, died Saturday April 30, 2016 in his home in Polo, IL with his family at his side. Paul was born October 2, 1950 in Aurora, IL the son of Paul & Margaret (Leigh) Shriber. Paul graduated from West Aurora High School class of 1968 and then he graduated from University of Illinois, where he was a member of the Marching Illini graduating in December of 1972. He was first chair clarinet of the Mt. Morris Kable Band for 25 years; he participated in the pit band for many community theatre productions. He had a strong love and knowledge of musicals and volunteered at Timber Lake Playhouse. Paul had a great sense of humor, and known for telling jokes. Paul is survived by his Wife: Debra Shriber, Polo, IL; Daughter: Heather Beaman, Aurora, IL; 2 Grandchildren: Lexi and Grant Beaman, Aurora, IL. Paul is preceded in death by his parents and 2 Sisters: Pat and Pam. Per Paul's wishes there will be no services and cremation rites were accorded through Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials to Serenity Hospice and Home.
