Mt. Morris, IL, Patricia L Leopold, age 78, died in her home on Friday April 17, 2015, Mt. Morris, IL. Pat was born February 10, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Arlington Joseph & Mildred (Coss) DeSonia Sr. Pat graduated from Belvidere High School class of 1955. She married Marvin W. Leopold Sr. on December 23, 1955 in Belvidere, IL. Pat worked as traffic secretary for Kable Printing Company retiring in 2003. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Oregon, IL and the Mt. Morris Women of The Moose. She enjoyed camping, mushrooming, relaxing and reading books. Pat was a devoted dog lover and she will be missed by Cody, Midget, and Tennessee. Pat is survived by her children: Marvin (Alice) Leopold Jr., Roscoe, IL; Jeffrey (Dana) Leopold, Marion, NC; Brenda Perrone, Loves Park, IL; and Cynthia (Rob) Bergin, Suwanee, GA. Grandchildren: Jacob (Kirsten), Seth (Megan), and Abby Leopold, Marion, NC; Ryan Jacobs, Belvidere, IL and Corey Jacobs, Phoenix, AZ; Brent, Breanna, and Alana Bergin, Suwanee, GA. Great Grandchild: Ashton Jacobs, Pecatonica, IL. Brother: Dan DeSonia, Rochester, IN. Pat is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Marvin Sr. 2 Brothers: Joe Jr. and James DeSonia; and 2 Sisters: Arlene Redner and Betty Olson. Funeral Mass will be Thursday April 23, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Oregon, IL. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday April 22, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. Memorials to St. Mary Catholic Church
