Patricia M Burd

Patricia M. Burd, age 93. Passed away on Monday July 25, 2022 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL.  Patricia was born on March 17, 1929 in Oregon, IL; the daughter of Wilbur & Ida (Kump) Sweeney.  She was a High School Graduate, and after High School she married Allen E Burd on July 5, 1947 in Mt. Morris, IL.  Allen preceded her in death on February 29, 2008.

Patricia was a member of the Evangelical Free Church, Mt. Morris, IL; where she served as a deaconess.

Patricia is survived by her children: Michael (Ann) Burd, Shannon, IL; Sherry (Dana) Krull, Leesburg, IN; and Vicki (Rick) Whitlock, Glen Haven, CO; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brothers: Gene Sweeney and David Sweeney.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Allen, son: James Burd, brother: Richard Sweeney, and sisters: Judy Barnhart and Joyce Shelton.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at 11:30 in Silver Creek Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Rodney Caldwell officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 27, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until service time in Silver Creek Cemetery.
