Pamela L Lawler

Mt. Morris, IL, Pamela L. Lawler, age 66, passed away suddenly in KSB Hospital, Dixon, IL on December 23, 2018. Pam was born on April 25, 1952 in Sacramento, CA, the daughter of William & Yvonne (Weatherill) Powell. Pam graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, IA and she studied nursing at Nebraska Methodist Health System. Pam married Mark Lawler on March 26, 1983 in Colfax, IA. She was a nurse in Omaha for 4 years, Des Moines Methodist for 8 years, UIC Clinic/KSB Clinic in Mt. Morris for 24 years retiring in the spring of 2016. She was a member of the Mt. Morris United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, family vacations, shopping with her family, and her dog "Abbey", the Lawler Reunion, quality time with her husband, and most importantly her family and close friends were her everything. Pam is survived by her husband: Mark Lawler, Mt. Morris, IL; daughters: Tiffany (Shawn) Willis, Polo, IL and Ashley (Kevin) Ruch, Grand Detour, IL; 5 grandchildren: Morgan Lawler, Oregon, IL, McKenley Lawler Ruch and Bostyn Ruch, Grand Detour, IL, and Mylo and Jackson Willis, Polo, IL; brother: Bill (Shirley) Powell, Tulsa, OK; sister: Sharon McKnight, Katy, TX; 7 brother in laws: Patrick Lawler; James (Carolyn) Lawler, Joseph (Ethel) Lawler, Dan (Bertie) Lawler, Ken (Angie) Lawler, Matt (Jean) Lawler, and Myron (Gloria) Lawler; many nieces and nephews, and her dog: Abbey. Pam is preceded in death by her parents; and father in law. Memorial service will be held on Saturday December 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Rv. Julie Bunt officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 29, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until service time. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Mt. Morris Moose. Per Pam's wishes in lieu of flowers memorials to TAILS, DeKalb, IL and/or St Judes.
