Mt. Morris, IL, Ora Lea King, age 82 died Wednesday March 6, 2013 in Freeport Memorial Hospital, Freeport, IL. Ora was born July 28, 1930 in Niota, TN the daughter of David Baxter & Tempie Mae (Johnson) Marney. Ora married Willard T. King on May 5, 1945 in Dalton, GA. Ora worked for Kable Printing Company in the Bindery Department retiring in 1992 working for 30 + years. Ora loved to crochet, knit, and spend time with her grandchildren. She loved to garden and home canning, cook and have people over. Ora was a very strong giving person. Ora is survived by 1 Son: Willard Tony Lee King, Calhoun, TN. 3 Daughters: Shirley (Clifford) Henson-Gilbert, Oregon, IL; Willie Grace (James) Ratledge, Forreston, IL; Bernice (Larry) Ratledge, Mt. Morris, IL. 15 Grandchildren. 27 Great Grandchildren. Brother: Jessie Marney, Athens, TN. Sister: Frances Ruth (Ernest) Womack, Riceville, TN. Ora is preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Willard, Son: Thomas Ralph King, Daughter: Peggy Ann Speers. 2Brothers: Ed and Fred Marney; 2 Sisters: Marie True and Addie King, Grandchild: Thomas John King. Funeral services will be Monday March 11, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL, with Pastor Brad Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Polo, IL. Visitation will be Monday March 11, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. till service time in Finch Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials to be determined
