Michael J Fletcher

Michael J. Fletcher, 61, of Mt. Morris, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2013 after a brief illness. He was born on February 23, 1952 in Freeport, IL, to Joe and Maryalice (Egan) Fletcher. Mike was employed at Woods Manufacturing in Oregon, IL. His interests included golf, traveling, cooking, gardening, working on/repairing things, spending time with friends, playing guitar, and listening to music, especially "Blues". He enjoyed living in Mt. Morris (Always a Mounder)! Mike is survived by one sister: Beverly (Fletcher) Kitzmiller; A Special long-time companion Jenny Kerchner. Mike was the love of her life and he was a dad to her kids, Deven and Emily. Also, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Kimberly (Fletcher) Homan. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 E. Hitt Street, Mt. Morris, IL 61054. There will be a private family burial. A memorial to be established.
