Marylee Condit

DATELINE: Mt.Morris, IL Mt. Morris, IL, MaryLee Condit, age 80, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012, in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 18, 1931 in Jesup, Iowa, the daughter of Edward & Ollie (Lambert) Bonorden. Her family moved to Verdi, MN, where she grew up, and went to High School, graduating in 1949. She worked her Uncle's farm for a year, then went to NW Institute of Medical Technology, in Minneapolis, MN graduating in 1951. She married John Condit on September 6, 1953 in Clark, SD, where she worked in a clinic. She was a mother & homemaker for 6 years in Brookings before moving to Mt. Morris, IL. She worked for 9 years at Kable Printing then 19 years at the Mt. Morris Medical Center, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, needle point, painting, and doing for her grandchildren. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served on the Alter Guild and she was a Sunday school teacher. She was also a Cub Scout den mother. MaryLee is survived by her Husband: John, Mt. Morris, IL; Son: Jeffrey (Natalie) Condit, Moline, IL; Daughters: Julie (Rick) Robinson, Mt. Morris, IL and Connie (Ken) Blatner, North Aurora, IL; 9 Grandchildren: Sean and Jamie(Kimberly) Robinson, Andrew, Adam, and Aaron Blatner, Johnathon (Alyssa), Benjamin, Allison, and Peter Condit; 2 Great Grandchildren: Anthony and Taylor Robinson; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Son: Scott; 2 sisters: Mildred and Mavis; 1 infant brother: Keith. Memorial services will be Sunday February 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Steven Erickson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday in the Church from 1:00 P.M. till service time. Burial will be at a later date.
