Mary Jo Dusing

Mt. Morris, IL, Mary Jo Dusing, age 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 19, 2019 in her home with her family by her side. She was born on February 3, 1946 in Shullsburg, WI, the daughter of James Louis & Loretta (Francis) DeRocher. Mary Jo married Michael Dusing on October 4, 1969 in Freeport, IL. She loved to sew, collected many things, but most of all she loved her time with her family; especially giving hugs to her grandchildren. Mary Jo is loved and will be missed by her husband Mike; her children: Michelle (Ken) Bechtold, Marci (Dave Slack) Loven, Dianna (Seth) Newton, Danielle (Tchevy) Olson, David (Cortnee) Dusing, and Matthew (Noel) Dusing; 19 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 brother: Bill (Rose) DeRocher; 2 sisters: LouAnn Scholl and Lynette Holland; and many nieces and nephews, that she loved very much. Mary Jo is preceded in death by her parents and brother: John James. Memorial services will be held on Saturday October 26, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the Leaf River Baptist Church, Leaf River, IL. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 26, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers memorials to Serenity Hospice and Home.
