Dixon, IL, Martha A. Ingram, age 89, died Sunday March 6, 2016 in Dixon, IL in her home with family surrounding at her bedside. Martha was born February 6, 1927 in Cumberland Gap, TN the daughter of Thomas & Lola (Jarvis) Sutton. Martha married Clifford Ingram in 1944 in Middlesboro, KY; and he preceded her in death in 1996. Martha loved embroidery and making quilts, playing bingo, and she planted beautiful flower gardens. She retired from Kysor Westrand, Byron, IL. Martha is survived by 7 children: L. Faye Blanchard, Dixon, IL, Ogie Watson, Dixon, IL, John Ingram, Speedwell, TN, Irene (Paul) Branscomb, Mt. Morris, IL, Vicky Martins, Ashton, IL, Betty Harmon, Dixon, IL, James Ingram, Milwaukee, WI; 17 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. 2 brothers: James Sutton, Mt. Morris, IL and Willis Sutton, Speedwell, TN. 1 Sister: Alice Robertson, New Tazwell, TN; several nieces and nephews. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Clifford, Daughter: Barbara Embeck; 2 sisters: Florence and Jane; 3 brothers: David, Haston, and Estel, and her dog: Prince. A visitation will be held Wednesday March 9, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. Burial will be in Harrogate Cemetery, Harrogate, TN on Saturday March 12, 2016.
