Lucinda L Eastman

Lucinda (Cindy) Eastman, 77, of Mt. Morris, Illinois, peacefully passed away on June 25, 2023, at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL surrounded by her family.

Cindy, was born to the late Earl and Myrtle (Burton) VanWambeke, on March 20, 1946, in Rockford, Illinois.  Married to John Eastman on February 14, 1964 in Rockford.

Cindy is survived by her three children and 4 grandchildren: Jeff (Tracy) Eastman, daughter Breanna and son Zachary (Maddi Knouse) Eastman.  Teresa Eastman (Deb Rabe).  Brad Eastman and sons Brandt and Hayden Eastman and daughter in law, Christy Eastman.  She is also survived by her brother Richard “Dick” (Marg) VanWambeke of Machesney Park, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband John, daughter Tina, her parents and step mother, her brother Ron and sister Barbie.

Cindy’s life will be celebrated in a private service.

A memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice and Home, Oregon, IL and/or Mt. Morris Fire and Ambulance.
