Lucille Snodgrass

Mt. Morris, IL, Lucille Snodgrass, age 99, died Monday January 14, 2019 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL. Lucille was born on September 9, 1919 in Freeport, IL the daughter of Irvin Roy & Clara (Hartlip) Moore. Lucille married William A. Snodgrass on September 10, 1938 in Mt. Morris, IL and he preceded her in death on May 19, 1989. She worked on the family farm. Lucille loved dogs, but she raised and showed Samoyed dogs. Lucille is survived by her children: Donald (Pat) Snodgrass, Hattiesburg, MS and Nancy Falzone, Mt. Morris, IL; grandchildren: Robert (Esther) Mongan, Joseph (Debbie) Mongan and Mark Snodgrass; great grandchildren: Trevor Snodgrass, Evan Snodgrass, Jacob Mongan, and Dylan Mongan; great great grandchild: Peyton Olivia Mongan, and niece: Bettijane Kuenzi. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; husband: William; brother: LaVern E. Moore. Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. Memorial services will be held on Friday July 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt Morris, IL. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church and/or Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home.
