Loretta Jane Stanley

Oregon, IL, Loretta Jane Stanley, age 89, passed away in her home on August 10, 2020 with her children by her side.  Loretta was born on March 25, 1931 in Pine Creek Township, IL the daughter of Russell C. & Mary J. (Gugerty) Warner.  She graduated from Oregon High School. Loretta married Robert H. Stanley on April 24, 1949 in Oregon, IL and he passed away in February 2008.  She worked in the lunch room at the St. Mary School, worked in the Oregon Cleaners, a homemaker, and a devoted wife and mother.  Loretta was a lifetime Oregon area resident.

Loretta is survived by her children: Dennis G. (Rosanne) Stanley, Rockford, IL; Val A. Stanley, Oregon, IL ; and Bridget M. (Keith) Wolfe, Oregon, IL; grandchildren: Kim (Aaron) Nevalainen, Rockford, IL; Tracy (Geoff Shaver) Murphy, Rockford, IL; Audrey E. (Mike) Smith, Dixon, IL ; Zachary L. (Leanna) Stanley, Oregon, IL ; Sasha (Mitchell) Logan, Sterling, IL ; Kelsey (Jared) Head, Oregon, IL ; and Megan Wolfe, Oregon, IL; great grandchildren: Maddie and Issie Nevalainen, Rockford, IL; Nicole, Sarah, and Brooklyn Butler, Dixon, IL; Leah, Ahna, Anthony, and Issac Stanley, Oregon, IL; Ainslee and Auden Logan, Sterling, IL .

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Robert; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL.  Burial will be held in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Byron, IL.
