Loretta L Greene

Oregon, IL, Loretta L. Greene, age 78, passed away Saturday October 28, 2017 in Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL. Loretta was born May 29, 1939 in West Virginia, where she lived her life in the Charlestown, Harpers Ferry, and Martinsburg areas of West Virginia until 1997. Loretta moved to Illinois in 1997 to be closer to her three youngest children, and her grand children who were residing here in Illinois. Loretta is survived by her children: Lynn Painter, Laine Painter, Lori Wagner, and Lance Painter; grandchildren: Choni Birkett, Ryan Thomas, Adria Chikotas, Andrea Thomas, and Lacey Painter; and 2 great grandchildren. Loretta is preceded in death by her eldest daughter: Leslie A. Jones of Martinsburg, West Virginia who passed away in February of 2008, and her husband: Nathaniel L. Greene, who passed away in 2013, at the age of 81. Cremation rites have been accorded per the wishes of Loretta.
