Lore Bogdanovich

Byron, IL, Lore Bogdanovich, age 97, died Tuesday July 22, 2014 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL surrounded by her family. Lore was born August 12, 1916 in Guetersloh, Germany the daughter of Heinrich & Gertrude (Wolkovitz) Tiedeman. Lore came to America in 1952 and settled in Lyons, IL until 1997 when she moved to Byron, IL to be close to her family. She was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church, Byron, IL. Lore loved her flower and vegetable gardens, Knitting and sewing, her birds, and she swam at Nash Recreation Center in Oregon, IL until she was 86. Lore is survived by her Daughter: Gisa Vinnedge, Byron, IL; Grandchildren: David (Special Friend Kim Brinkmeyer) Vinnedge, Forreston, IL; Charles (Farah) Vinnedge, Woodbridge, VA; Vickie (Bill) Vinnedge-Gerdes, Amboy, IL. Great Grandchildren: Justin Whipple, Rebecca Coleman Vinnedge, Jared Vinnedge, Dalton Vinnedge, Elijah Whipple, Mayson Whipple, Alyssa Vinnedge, Nathan Vinnedge, Garrett Gerdes, and Lauren Gerdes. Great Great Grandchild: Dashad Howard. Lori is preceded in death by her parents, 2 Brothers, 1 Granddaughter, and 1 Great Grandson. Graveside services will be held Saturday July 26, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in Byron City Cemetery, Byron, IL with Rev. Marilyn Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Byron City Cemetery, Byron, IL. Memorials can be sent to Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home and/or Serenity Hospice & Home. There will be a luncheon following the service at Grandson Dave Vinnedge's home, 11539 West East Road, Forreston, IL for a celebration of Lori's life.
