Linda M Stranberg

Oregon, IL, Linda Stranberg, age 58, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL.  Linda was born on October 10, 1966 in Aurora, IL; the daughter of William & Shirley (Drendel) Avery.  She graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1984 and from Illinois State University in 1988.  Linda married Keith Stranberg on September 16, 1995 in Mt. Morris, IL.

Linda was a member of the Mt. Morris Evangelical Free Church serving as a ministry assistant from 2021 – 2023, and she served in other various capacities in the church, she spent 20 years home educating her children, reading, flower gardening, and doing 4-H projects when her children were home.

Linda is survived by her husband Keith Stranberg, Oregon, IL; daughters: Heather (Hunter) Wilkerson, Amarillo, TX, Kelly (Andrew) Riess, Burnsville, MN, and Olivia Stranberg, Oregon, IL; son: Alek Stranberg, Dixon, IL; grandson: Carter Wilkerson, Amarillo, TX; sisters: Becky (Ralph) Zintak and Sheila Martin; brother: Bill (Tina) Avery.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents: William and Shirley Avery.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 5, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at The Evangelical Free Church of Mt. Morris with Pastor Bruce McKanna officiating.  The burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL.  Visitation will be held on Friday April 4, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home 405 East Hitt Mt. Morris, IL 61054.
