Linda Straith

Linda Straith (Earth Angel Grannie) age 64, was called to heaven on Friday May 25th, 2018. She was born April 20th, 1954 in Chicago. A graduate of Northwestern University in Bilingual Education. Spent her life working in Nursing and Real Estate, as well as other occupational endeavors. Loving daughter of Florinda Berry, Eliseo and Aurora (Quela) Garcia, her adopted parents. Loving bride to Terry Straith. Devoted mother of Michael Alexander and Linda Christine. Sister to Anthony, Frank, Kathy, David, Reuben, Joseph. Adoring grandmother to Emily, Michael, Kyra, Brayden, Samantha, and Kaeden. As well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Linda is proceeded in death by the Garcia's. Founder of Earth Angels a non profit group, was well known in the community with a multitude of friends and families. Active in many civic organizations and many community groups. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 31st from 4-6pm followed by a 6pm service, at Finch Funeral Home 405 East Hitt St. Mount Morris IL, 61054, with Rev. Josh Ehrler officiating. Linda always said "I don't need anything, just give back to the world." Instead of flowers, Linda's wish would be to make a donation in her honor, to a charitable organization of your choosing.
