Lily Marie Stutsman

Lily Marie Stutsman, 94, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Pinecrest Community in Mt. Morris, IL. She was born on November 22, 1926 to Henry Block & Bessie (Weber) Block. She graduated from Western Illinois University and later married Merle Stutsman on June 25, 1950. They had two children, Kent Stutsman and Rhonda (Kevin) Mikolajewski. She was a devoted grandmother to Alex and Morgan Mikolajewski & loving great grandmother to great grand dogs, Oliver and Barkley! Lily was a dietician and worked at Proctor Community Hospital in Peoria, IL. She was a devoted member of the Church of the Brethren, mainly in Peoria but later transferring to Dixon. She was a generous volunteer for every prayer chain, Bible study, and church work day! She is preceded in death by her husband, Merle Stutsman, son, Kent Stutsman, brothers Willis and Leland Block, and sisters Rosemary Rose and Margaret Nell. Always caring for others, Lily would not want to be even remotely related to any potential spreader event! Therefore, a Celebration of Life service is being delayed to a date that is yet to be determined.
