Kristine "Kris" M Blake

Kristine “Kris” Marie Blake, 66, of Mount Morris, IL, passed away peacefully at her home on April 26, 2022.

Kris was born on November 28, 1955, to Carl and Dolores Ward in Beloit, WI. She worked several years at Kable News and the Moose Lodge in Mount Morris. Once retired, she worked briefly at Walmart in Dixon. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, playing cards, and spending time with her beloved dog, Harley.

Kris is survived by her daughter Tracy Cratty of Mount Morris, IL; mother Dolores Ward; grandchildren: Nicholas (Kihana) Izer, Tiffany Izer, and Cheyenne (Cody) Munroe; sisters: Becky (Gary) Pederson and Carol Boan; and brother Carl “Skeet” Ward. She is preceded in death by her husband Darrel Blake; partner Charlie Downer; father Carl Ward; brother-in-law Tom; and sister-in-law Donna.
