Kraig H Avey

Mt. Morris, IL, Kraig H. Avey, age 39, died suddenly in his home on December 22, 2015, after suffering with health issues for several years. Kraig was born October 8, 1976 in Rockford, IL the son of Dennis & Rose (Sheely) Avey. He graduated from Oregon High School which he hated in 1995, and he considered himself a life long Mounder. Kraig was a member of the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge #1551, he was an avid Cubs, Bears, and Lakers Fan, and he loved his cats. Kraig is survived by his mother: Rose Avey, Mt. Morris, IL; Brother: Keith (Kim Barnett) Avey, Mt. Morris, IL; Uncle Vince (Ericka) Sheely, Rockford, IL. Kraig is preceded in death by his Father: Dennis Avey and Grandmother: Marie Sheely Wells. Celebration of life will be held at The Mt. Morris Moose Lodge on December 26, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with food and fellowship. Finch Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation rights. Memorials to any animal shelter.
