Kevin Robert Petrie

Mt. Morris, IL, Kevin Robert Petrie, age 52, died Sunday July 14, 2013 in KSB Hospital, Dixon, IL. Kevin was born August 16, 1960 in Rockford, IL, the son of Harold J. & Lucy B. (LittleJohn) Petrie. Kevin graduated from Harlem High School, Rockford, IL. He served in the US Marines for 4 years. Kevin married MaryJo Ritter on April 11, 1988 in Rockford, IL. He worked for Mobil Gas in Mt. Morris, IL for 19 years. Kevin loved his dogs, riding motorcycles, vintage cars, and he was always joking around with his friends. Kevin is survived by his wife: MaryJo Petrie, Mt. Morris, IL, his son: Brian Robert Petrie, Iowa, and by numerous family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 20, 2013 in the Pavilion just before the Ford in White Pines State Park, Polo, IL, with Pastor Steve Doyle officiating. There will be a Potluck Luncheon following the Celebration of Life. The family would like family and friends to bring the love and stories of Kevin.
